Created in collaboration with this world-famous Australian designer, the Atmos 561 by Marc Newson reinvents the Atmos for its eightieth birthday. Its well-balanced and simple design is as unexpected as it is obvious, creating an extraordinarily sparing effect. Limited series of 888.This clock is such a great design on so many levels. Atmos clocks is not a new invention, in fact it dates back 80 years to when engineer Jean-Leon Reutter patented the technology that runs on air! The mechanism exploits temperature changes in the air, and only a degree of difference in the air is enough to charge the clock for two days. This new and modern design is on the other hand brand new, and its the result of the collaboration between Jaeger-LeCoultre and the Australian designer Marc Newson. A great technology pared with a great design!
