This past Wednesday night, New York's Museum of Modern Art was abuzz with some of the world's most chic elite as they mingled at the NYC premiere of
The September Issue. The film, which hits theaters on Friday, documents the inner workings of
Anna Wintour and her
Vogue team as they slave over the release of the hugely-anticipated annual Fall issue of the fashion bible. To celebrate the movie's release, style icons of
Hollywood and the design industry alike graced the red carpet, and although it's normally their clothing that fights for the attention of the cameras, the designers themselves embraced the limelight in person to honor the occasion. Among some of the fashion favorites in attendance were
Carolina Herrera (hand-in-hand with
Oscar de la Renta), the always-polished
Vera Wang, and
