Its an ingeniously simple concept - focus on balance then speed without the distraction of pedals. (Like-a-Bike has no pedals.) This is how it works: Kids become comfortable on the saddle, start moving on the Like-a-Bike by walking, and then shift to running while on it. Theyre so full of energy, they instinctively begin pushing off, picking up speed, and testing their balance by lifting their feet off the ground for gradually greater distances. As any seasoned cyclist would, kids simply regain balance with their feet if they feel the bike tip.
