Step back in time and put some sexy in your step with a pair of spats by Efia. Efia handknits all of her designs. Efia, an aspiring actress and accessories designer, is often inspired by handmade materials from other independent artists. She loves soft textures, natural fibers, interesting ribbons and unique buttons. And she loves to use rich bold colors as well as nice feminine touches in her designs. She not only designs spats, but also handmade scarflettes, scarves, and fingerless mittens. The Bluebird of Happiness scarflette is darling and will add such a splash of color to your winter wardrobe. And who can pass up accessories in this shopping season, they are your easiest way to extend your wardrobe. Efia even has some handsome man mitts for the guy in your life. We've picked some of our favorites accessories to share with you in our slideshow.

    Practical And Adorable Fingerless Gloves!

Cute and functional aren't found in the same package nearly enough, am I right? All too often it feels like we're forced to choose between the two! That's why I'm so excited that fingerless gloves are finally being considered a style statement beyond that of 'hobo' (not boho, hobo). Mittens and gloves are adorable in their own right, but soon enough we all need use of our fingertips, if only for the purpose of adjusting the volume on our iPods. And who wants to be pulling on gloves and taking them off all the time? Designers from those on Etsy to fashion favorite 3.1 Phillip Lim seem to agree because the knit wonders are popping up everywhere! Check out WhatsWear's review of this trend by clicking here, and click on the slideshow for our favorite fingerless gloves!

The worst part about cold weather (aside from having to push our spring stuff to the back of the closet) is our suddenly cold, chapped hands. Keep warm and give your fingers a rest in some cute mittens this winter! Though not as practical as their rival, gloves, mittens offer the same warmth and cuteness that gloves simply cannot touch. And with plenty of options, from warm Ugg Shearling Mittens ($120) to super-cute knit heart convertible mittens from BP Nordstrom ($8), there are plenty of options for every kind of look, whether you need them for everyday use or a fabulous ski vacation in Lake Tahoe! Check out our SLIDESHOW for some toasty mitten options!
