    CollegeCandy Wishlist: ASOS Draped Dress

When you're on a budget, you can't spend your money on just anything. You need items that are versatile, timeless and just plain pretty. And this beautiful dress from ASOS is all that and more. It is short, yet it reveals just enough skin with its strapless design for hitting those clubs on Saturday night. Put on some sexy, strappy heels and you are ready to conquer the dance floor. When the party's over, work this dress in a different way. Got a holiday party coming up? Slip it on with a pair of pumps and clutch. A nice family dinner to attend? Put a blazer over the top and you'r good to go. Wanna rock it out? Add a leather jacket, tights and a pair of ankle boots. Unlike most mini dresses, this ASOS design is anything but typical. I really love the contrast created by the light drape, especially the way it crosses the bust to the waistline and then back over again on the bottom. With this dress in your closet you'll have the solution to every wardrobe dilemma. Whether it's a birthday party or a wedding, this dress is the answer! Celebs Are Loving Super Short Long Sleeved Mini Dresses!

Every since Christophe Decarnin sent his fembots down his spring and fall runway shows in minis with sky high hemlines and long sleeves it seems like celebs can't get enough. Blake Lively has been spotted in a seriously shoulder padded black sequined number and Sienna Miller rocked a majorly distressed version in gold at the party for her Broadway show "After Miss Julie." But its not just Balmain that's playing the long sleeve mini game. Chloe Sevigny's been out and about in new designer Kimberly Ovitz's nude bandaged mini and Alexa Chung looked perfectly minimalist in red Calvin Klein. One thing is for sure, all of these dresses have dangerously high hemlines, but the more conservative, covered-up look on top keeps it balanced. I mean mom always said to cover up, right? 7 Seriously Alluring (And Wearable!) Leather Mini Dresses

Fashionistas just can't get enough of leather this fall. Moto jacket? Check. Fingerless driving gloves? Check. Liquid leggings? Check, once you work up the nerve to actually wear them. But one thing you may have yet to add to your autumn trend arsenal is a leather dress! I know it sounds risky, since prior to this recent leather invasion you probably associate the material mostly with biker babes and dominatrices, but you may be surprised to find that this season's leather LBDs aren't overdramatic. Instead, the latest leather minis simply provide a sexy sheen to otherwise modest silhouettes like this Gryphon smock dress and this shift dress from Alice + Olivia. Pair with a killer set of ankle booties for your next dressy night out, or add some serious sparkle with a bib necklace and you've got yourself a New Years Eve ensemble (hey, it's never too early to plan ahead)! Check the slideshow for some of my favorite leather dresses.

The long sleeved mini dress is an absolute must have for Fall 2009. It's the perfect combination of comfortable and chic. With the cooler weather already here, tube dresses or sleeveless mini dresses, while cute, could leave you feeling like a human popsicle. A little more length in the sleeve does wonders and stores and designers like Mango and Topshop are offering a number of sexy but weather appropriate styles for you to choose from. You can match a lot of different shoes with these dresses, like ballet flats or nice boots. Click over to Girlscene to see a few of our favorite long-sleeved mini dresses!

Mila Or Jessica: Which Star Shined Brighter At The "Extract" ...

While director Mike Judge is known for catering mainly to the "manly" demographic with male-dominated masterpieces like "Beavis and Butt-Head," "King Of The Hill," and "Office Space," the ladies certainly stole the spotlight at the premiere for his latest jaded employee flick, "Extract." And while the two brunettes are surely stunning in pretty much anything they wear, their metallic minidresses definitely helped amp up the otherwise lackluster red carpet! Mila Kunis, the film's leading lady, shimmered in a Matthew Williamson dress and grey patent pumps, while "90210" star Jessica Stroup was glitzy in a gold t-shirt dress from Notte by Marchesa. While we love seeing two contrasting takes on the metallic trend -- Mila's soft pastel and Jessica's flashy edge -- we just can't have two queens of the red carpet! Beyonce, Keri Hilson or Alicia Keys: Which BET Beauty Stole ...

The BET Awards were just held at The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles and it was a bittersweet show this year due to the sudden passing of Michael Jackson. Personally, the most poignant moment was Beyonce performing "Arms Of An Angel" in remembrance, but you also had other knock-out performers like as Jay-Z, gospel duo Mary Mary, Keri Hilson and Monica. Some favorites won: Beyonce for Best Female R&B Artist, Ne-Yo for Best Male R&B, Keri Hilson walked away with 'Best New Artist' and Lil' Wayne is still on top with a 'Best Male Hip-Hop Artist win. Great, but no real surprises there! Aside from the big celeb names, fist-pumping performances and musical memories, stars were also lighting up the red carpet and showing it off pre-show! Many of the men cleaned up nicely, but it was the women that did the real show-stopping and head-turning. Beyonce showed some leg in a marbled Balmain dress, Alicia Keys looked confident and sexy in a sari-inspired tunic, and Keri Hilson made a bold statement in a pop-art, mosaic strapless sheath dress. Which BET bombshell do you think was the most daring songstress on the red carpet?
