Video Style Steal: Rihanna & Her Boys "Run This Town," Street ...

After all the relationship drama and Hollywood hype she's had to deal with in the past year, Rihanna is back -- and she's not coming quietly. In Jay-Z's latest single "Run This Town," also featuring Kanye West, RiRi makes it clear that she's armed and ready for the spotlight, stronger and fiercer than ever. The politically-charged video was filmed in New York's Fort Totten Park and depicts a chaotic mob revolt, representative of a more literal take on the song's title. While an exact replication of Rihanna's video get-ups may send more than a few quirked eyebrows your way, you can take her militia-style costumes as inspiration in perfecting your own look as a style soldier. What do Jimi Hendrix, Christophe Decarnin of Balmain and Sienna Miller all have in common? They all love marching band style jackets! Beyonce and Rihanna have been spotted in the amazing (and very pricey) Balmain version and Sienna looked retro-cool in her Temperley London version. Finding an authentic vintage band jacket is hard to do, and sometimes the fit is less than flattering. Good thing designers have been turning out more modern and contemporary versions! Go subtle with some slight button or double-breasted detail, or go all out with some major gold trim and adornments. If you want to be truly authentic, check out Nasty Gal for a few great vintage styles. Check out the slideshow for our 5 favorite jackets that will keep you marching all fall long! Sophie Hulme Masters Military Luxury

Whoever thought sequins couldn't be minimalist never came across the designs of Sophie Hulme! Directly out of design school, the Brit started her own line for Fall '08. After a few seasons of gaining steam, her wares are now sold around the world and online at Revolve Clothing. The line fuses together masculine, minimalist cuts with some girly flash. Military-style anoraks and bomber jackets are dripping in sequins that totally up their glamour factor. The collection is punctuated with cool utilitarian accessories as well. Quilted backpacks and sequined harnesses as well some limited edition jewelry add to the "boyish with flair" charm of the line. Each piece of clothing also comes with a special trinket that changes every season. The purpose, you ask? After a few collections, you'll have enough to make your own Sophie Hulme charm bracelet. Check out the slideshow to see some of the line!

Looking for a jacket that's timeless yet on-trend and will get you through winter and well into spring? Look no further! Military jackets have been seen all over the runways from Gucci to Moschino, worn on celebs like Mischa Barton and Victoria Beckham, and featured on street fashion blogs from Los Angeles to Paris. Military jackets are usually characterized by bold knob buttons, a double-breasted fit, and come in neutral and classic colors like black, cream, or navy. Whether they're mid-length or cropped, you can find something that suits your style and climate. Worried about price? I've found military-inspired jackets that hit every price point from $40 to over $700. The cape cadet coat from Elizabeth & James brings a dramatic military flair to any ensemble, while a wool-blend tweed jacket is suited for everyday wear. So snap into attention and get shopping!
