I decided to take the idea of my basic fringe necklace, and turn up the fringe dial to "maximum". I love how this piece came out, and will no doubt be doing further maxed out fringe necklace experiments.
Keep in mind, this necklace is one of a kind (OOAK) though since it is made with a combo of a vintage metal chain and new AND vintage fringe. It's a real mash up of things I love, it truly is.
The chain is a soft gold colour, although it is not real gold, and since it is vintage I don't know the exact make up of the metal. The multiple chains are joined together at the back with a great fan style detail, and connect together with a small metal hook at the back. I have hand stitched the fringe with matching thread along the lowest hanging chain, so it is very secure. Go ahead, wear this necklace out dancing! You may get fringe stuck all over your sweaty neck, but damn, you'll look amazing!
