We watched gladiator and platform sandals take hold of every fashionista's feet for kick-ass strappy style in the months prior, but now that June is nipping at our heels, flat sandals are getting jazzed up in the most creative ways to keep that element of dressed-up drama in a more comfortable, summer-friendly package that can be suitable for day and night. Chunky stones, chain straps, ruffles galore, and so much more -- these sandals aren't just for slipping on as an afterthought as you run out of the house for an emergency beat-the-heat smoothie. From subdued and quietly chic to bold and flashy, Nicky Hilton has the magic touch and can pull just about anything off. At the Sally Beauty Supply Launch, the designing heiress demonstrated how instrumental accessories can truly be to an ensemble. With a printed Haven dress as a canvas, the self-confessed accessory-addict piled them on with a black studded Valentino bag, Tom Ford sunglasses, studded Matt Bernson sandals, and lots of fabulous jewelry pieces including a black bangle, several beaded bracelets in different colors, a cocktail ring, oversized earrings, and a necklace- whew, that's a lot of stuff jammed into one ensemble! The most astounding part about this outfit is that despite the many, many elements, it still looks uncluttered and pulled together without looking over thought! Man, she's good!
