You'll Be Green with Envy Over These Ten Vintage Finds!

Shakespeare described envy as "the green sickness" in Anthony And Cleopatra and mentions a "green-eyed monster" in Othello. And haven't we all been caught by the bug at one time or another? Maybe you were struck over a car, a home, a promotion, or even something as silly as a to-die-for dress. But have you tried wrapping yourself in green without the envy? Any one of these fabulous vintage finds is a fine way to wear the color of nature (and the color of money!). Not too fond of lime green? That doesn't mean you won't love something in fern, moss, or pine. Not ready to step out in green from head to toe? Try adding just a touch in a clutch, a pendant or earrings. Just click the slideshow and get inspired!

    Heavenly Hermès Hall of Fame

There was a fascinating article on Hermès in the September 2007 issue of Vanity Fair which said that Hermès "does not boast, does not use celebrities in advertising, does not license its name, (and) does not let imperfect work leave the atelier." What a company! And what amazing art (I won't diminish the work by referring to it as product). Of course, if you'd like to own an iconic Kelly or Birkin bag, you could spend years on a waiting list and even then it might be outside your budget. But Hermès doesn't just create handbags. They also make jewelry and, oh, those scarves! A vintage Hermès scarf wrapped around your intelligent little head is a crown fit for a queen! Click the slide show for a little sample of some heavenly Hermès items.
