Our sister site, ThisNext.com has been doing big things and recently had a joint soiree with Lucky Magazine to honor cover-girl, Jessica Alba.

It was a small and private, yet star-studded event with other stylish guests including actresses, big name bloggers and industry experts. Jessica Alba stood out in the crowd in a gorgeous leopard print maxi (complete with baby bump), gold stacked bangles and nude clutch.

And she wasn't the only party-goer that was showing off some serious style chops! It was a festive display of fashion and personal style, with food, drinks and decor coordinated by ThisNext Editors themselves ... Looks like they know what they're talking about!

Get Naturally Beautiful With Almay Pure Blends Makeup!

Many of us are conscious about what we eat and drink, (organic fruits and veggies, yes please!) but do you ever think about what's in your makeup? Think about it, women can wear makeup anywhere from 6-10 hours a day! In the past, many ladies of the Renaissance put white powder all over their face which turned out to be white lead which caused deformities and even death. Thankfully, the Food and Drug Administration regulates cosmetics in the United States, making sure the products we put on our face are safe. There are still ingredients in makeup today that may irritate those with sensitive skin. So what's a girl to do? We can't avoid makeup all together! Thankfully, Almay has come out with their Almay Pure Blends line of foundation, eye shadow, lipgloss, blush/bronzer, and powder that boasts 95% natural ingredients including extracts from fruits and flowers in the formulas. They're also hypoallergenic, free of talc and added parabens (talc can clog pores and parabens may be correlated with cancer). Even their packaging is eco-friendly made from an average of 44% recycled materials! As another added bonus, Almay has teamed up with Lucky magazine for a giveaway and special offer. Join the eco-effort here and Lucky magazine will plant a tree in your honor. You'll also be entered to win one of 50 reusable tote bags!
