This is a "Lightening Bug" or Firefly as some call it.
He is 8" tall to the top of his antenna; 7 3/4" from tip of nose to end of light bulb; and the base is about 3 1/2" at its widest point.
His body is made from an old bisque doll leg covered with pattern tissue, metal doll eyes, vintage optical lenses, a spring from an old sewing machine, and an old light bulb for the ....... light bulb!
I will package him very carefully to avoid damage. I don't want the little guy to get broken after all.
Remember, this piece of artwork is not intended for children to handle or for a child's room.
And oh yes, I retain the copyright and can use the image whenever I want too! And I can make more just like him if I want to too. But you can enjoy the real thing, if you buy him of course.
