For Spring 2009
Lela Rose gave her signature sporty cocktail aesthetic a funky ethnic twist drawing inspiration from the kaleidoscope of colors, prints and shapes found in African tribal wear. With ultra femme and prints cut in relaxed and loose silhouettes, this collection radiated effortless glamour that was feminine and extremely wearable. Beautifully structured cocktail frocks abounded with sporty separates like cuffed ankle pants, track jackets and shorts thrown into the mix. All of the fabulous ensembles were worn with shoes from the
Lela Rose for Payless collection which draws upon the details and fabrics from the seasonal collections with peep toe wedges with plaid check and satin, wooden peep toe pumps dress sandals with bows, and peep toe flats with frayed ribbons.
