    At the Teen Choice Awards, the adorable Kristen Bell kept it funky, fashion-forward, and just the right touch of sexy with an ensemble that mixed high and low-end buys. Kristen went for one of this season's must-have pieces, the black jumpsuit, opting for a plunging style from Topshop. She enlivened the look with some standout accessories including a colorful Vera Wang rhinestone necklace, gold and diamond necklaces from Jennifer Meyer jewelry, metallic strappy sandals from Jimmy Choo, and a lime green Bally frame clutch. A black jumpsuit like this one is highly versatile and is the perfect backdrop for an array of fabulous accessories, giving you the freedom to express your personal style.     At the MTV Movie Awards (Oscar's red-headed cousin thrice-removed), the "Twilight" team won a zillion awards, host Andy Samberg sang an ode to turning one's back on explosions, Sacha Baron Cohen "offended" Eminem, and ... yadda yadda. What about the clothes? We were glued to the red carpet to see the latest in celeb styles. While there were some misses such as Kristen Stewart pairing a gorgeous Yigal Azrouel dress with Converse sneakers, there were quite a few hits too. Hayden Panettiere and Kristen Bell went (very) LBD, Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port were a study in contrasts, and Leighton Meester -- well, all you Blair Waldorf fans are going to have to see it to believe it.     It looks like some of the on-set styles are rubbing off on Gossip Girl narrator Kristen Bell, who has been getting increasingly more fashionable these days! For an LA screening of her film Fanboys, Kristen really got in touch with her inner style-setter, mixing and matching for a super chic look that infused the perfect dose of edge to a flirty and femme look. The petite starlet paired a printed white mini skirt with a simple gray tank which she topped off with a fantastic cropped leather jacket- all from Jenni Kayne. She finished off the look with a killer pair of Jimmy Choo sandals, a sleek Kotur clutch, Amrapali bracelets, and a large Bochic cocktail ring. My favorite part about this look is that while everything works perfectly together, each individual piece is so beyond fabulous on its own and can be used to up the chic quotient of any ensemble.

    Can you believe that summer is almost over? Soon those lovely summer weekends will be gone and the summer blockbuster movies will seem like a distant memory. But before you go into hibernation and say goodbye to the floaty sundresses, flip flops and bikinis, we still have a good couple of warm weeks ahead of us (unless you live in San Francisco like me, the fog is about to lift and summer about to start all over again)! Relish this last month of warm weather with some truly summery citrus accessories. Lemon colored baubles and a tangerine clutch add a nice summery punch of color that makes you feel like you are headed for the beach!     She may be petite, but Kristen Bell sure knows how to pack a lot of punch when she hits the red carpet, or blue carpet in this case. At the Teen Choice Awards, Kristen's fashion-forward, enviably chic style rendered her look one of my favorites of the night. Kristen was a true testament to the fabulousness of the neon and neutral trend by pairing a nude silk tank with a high-waisted fuchsia silk organza miniskirt- both from the Jenni Kayne Resort 2009 Collection. The outfit was incredible on its own, so the amazing accessories she chose, including an Amrapali long beaded turquoise, onyx, and mother of pearl necklace, nude pumps and a dark brown clutch- both by Jimmy Choo- took it to a whole new level!
