Diamonds, of course, are a girl's best friend. But in this economy, who has the money to go out and drop some serious cash on a rock? Enter the world of lovely costume jewelry. Oversized faux diamonds are fun, cheap and look great with anything from an evening dress to jeans and a t-shirt! I love the "Big As A House" diamond ring from Fred Flare -- only $9 and makes a huge impact! For something a bit more vintage, what about the tea party ring from Banana Republic? Its vintage cut and mix of materials send a perfect mix of "this is an heirloom" and "this is fabulous." Check out my slideshow for other lovely faux diamonds!

With the arrival of the Obamas in the White House, all eyes are on Washington, and it's not just our new president who's capturing our attention. Michelle Obama is demonstrating a true flair for fashion, and her individual style is garnering more than a few fans. With simple lines and beautiful tailoring, she brings to mind another first lady and fashion icon. Already we can identify some aspects of her signature style: her penchant for flats, Erickson Beamon floral brooches, belted dresses, and complexion-flattering jewel tones and pastels. For anyone who was left in doubt of her stylistic prowess, her Michelle Obama's inaugural gown cemented her place among the other formidable fashion mavens who have graced the White House. Check out the slideshow to see some pieces that exemplify the new Mrs. O's wardrobe.

CHia New York designer June Chang is no stranger to the details- as a child, it was her grandmother who taught her of their importance- and it was June's early introduction to this facet of design that has undoubtedly led to her impressive contributions to the handbag scene since the debut of her first collection a mere two years ago. Vintage charm, modern sensibility, and a dash of European flair lend a one-of-a-kind feel to her handbags and clutches, while luxurious Italian leather and gold tone hardware demonstrate the remarkable quality her handbags maintain, collection after collection. We talked to June about her start in the handbag industry, the designers she loves most, and what she has in store for CHia New York. Click the slideshow, read on for the interview, and then scroll down to find out how you can enter to win a CHia handbag (worth over $500) for yourself!
