A quick once-over of my closet and you'll be able to sum it up in three words: skinny jeans galore! And after awhile, despite all the different washes and dyes and distressing, they all start to look the same. Leave it to Jessica Alba to give me some inspiration for updating my denim collection! Constantly seen out and about LA with daughter Honor in tow, Jessica Alba's nearly always in jeans for ultimate comfort and mobility, and despite juggling her little one and a demanding career, she always makes time to look stylish on the go. Lately she's been rocking Black Orchid's Black Betty skinny jeans -- dark classic skinnies updated with hook and eye closures at the ankles for a little dash of edginess. The dark wash makes them appropriate for both dressing up and looking casual-chic -- making them the perfect addition to my collection! You can buy this pair along with some of their other celebrity-approved styles at Black Label Boutique.

Even from just a cursory flip-through of Fashion Week photos, it's easy to tell which stylish starlets just can't stay away from the Bryant Park tents. After all, when every dress, purse, and sequin you've ever worn is documented by the press, it's easy to get addicted to front-row views of your next big-night red carpet ensembles. Certain celebs like Jessica Alba and Alicia Keys took breaks from their busy schedules to pop into designer favorites like Narciso Rodriguez and Giorgio Armani, while other fashion-infatuated gals like Jessica Stroup and Rachel Bilson flocked tirelessly to as many runways as they could handle, from Vivienne Tam to Brian Reyes. And whether you're a celebrity, designer, model, writer, or shopaholic, there's no pressure to look your best like there is at New York Fashion Week! Get Your Hands On Jessica Alba's Feathered Headband!

    image

Jessica Alba knows a thing or two about being glamorous on the red carpet. But this past year she has been discovering a whole new type of style -- "mommy chic." One thing that all new moms learn pretty quickly is that having hair in your face while trying to run after your kids is no fun. Jessica is a huge fan of headbands, yet her picks are anything but basic and ordinary. Everything from feathers to ribbons have adorned her pulled-back hairline. Running errands around Los Angeles with her adorable daughter Honor, she sported a cute Stella Accessories feathered headband that added just a touch of whimsy to her jeans-and-tank style. To get the look, mom or not, you can get the Madison headband by Stella Accessories which retails for $42.

Jessica Alba Is Trendy in MK2K Plaid

    image

Jessica Alba was spotted leaving the ever-trendy Nobu, fittingly in a very "in" plaid blouse by MK2K. She paired her top with a black cardigan, black pants and simple jewelry, making this low-key outfit chic and comfortable. Jessica would look good in anything but this shirt works to highlight her super-slim figure. It is also an outfit that would look good on a variety of people, whether or not they have the body Jessica does. With a smocked front, this inexpensive blouse ($143!) is great for concealing a larger mid-section (not that Jessica has one by the looks of her bikini pics). Paired with skinner jeans, shorts or a skirt, this shirt can be dressed up or down depending on how you want to wear it. MK2K is a brand beloved by many stars and regular shoppers alike. Their line consists of adorable tops, fun and flirty dresses and versatile blouses. Plaid has been a trend we have been seeing for a while and it looks to have no signs of going out anytime soon. Getting Jessica's exact look is very easy. Simply pair this top with a pair of skinny black jeans or pants. Accessorize with thin gold hoops, a gold necklace, red nails and a Chanel-like bag! Update Your Look With A Statement Necklace Like Jessica Alba

A statement-making necklace is such a quick and easy way to update your look. It's no secret that people are trying to pinch their pennies these days, and investing in a standout necklace can make wardrobe pieces you've had for years look brand new. At the BET pre-party, Jessica Alba rocked a simple white tee and black blazer combo (worn with cropped pants). On its own, the outfit was nothing special, but courtesy of the gorgeous multi-chain Gemma Redux necklace she sported, she looked totally fashion-forward and on-trend. The multi-chain style is a huge right now and can add just the right dose of edge to your look. Throw one on and toughen up a sweet floral frock, upgrade a basic jeans-and-tee look, or add some glam to a classic LBD-- the options are endless. Check out my slideshow for 5 necklaces similar to the one worn by Jessica.
