A frog, a butterfly and beautiful kanji to celebrate spring
Haiku is so essentially seasonal, and this one celebrates the coming of spring. It quotes what is perhaps the most widely known haiku by celebrated Japanese haiku master Basho:
An old pond
A frog jumps in! Splash!
And indeed, Mr. Froggie is waiting for the right moment. Perhaps a second later he goes after the butterfly and then plop!
Available on fashion t-shirts, art tiles, mugs, baby togs, and with our summer dragonfly haiku design, makes a gorgeous pillow set!
