Been dreaming of that romantic Tuscan getaway but don't exactly have the spare cash for the overseas accommodations? Good news -- now you can enjoy the beauty of Italy right in the heart of San Francisco's Union Square! True, it might not be an equivalent replacement, but the idea is still there, and with its Italian villa-style decor, newly-remodeled accommodations, and authentic wine bar and restaurant next door, Villa Florence is the closet you'll get to your ideal romantic destination on this side of the world! You'll get the coziest of VIP treatments as you enjoy the hotel's warm contemporary decor and modern amenities (complete with L'Occitane products in the room!), providing you an escape within an escape. As beautiful as it may be, don't hole yourself up in the room, though -- with the hotel's prime SF location, you can shop the day away without having to exchange your currency! Take a look at the slideshow for a glimpse of SF's take on the Italian villa.

Leather, shoes, food, wine, Leonardo DiCaprio... those Italians know a thing or two about the good things in life. Yeah, so my gelato from the store down the street is probably more Italian than Leo, but you get the point. So it's no surprise that Italian lingerie is oh-so lust-worthy, is it? Even the basics manage to remain stunning without overt embellishment, and is that not a sign of luxury and brilliance? Last week we introduced you to Adea Italian lingerie, the collection of microfiber basics that you can (and will want to) wear all day, all year long. In order to win $250 in Adea lingerie, all you had to do was tell us your favorite Adea style! Want to know if you're the one who will get to eat, sleep, and lounge in $250 worth of the most luxurious basics around? Read on to find out if you won!

If you're still wearing those old college t-shirts to bed or your fancy undergarments and lingerie have seen better days (dingy, stretched out, you get the picture), then it's time to upgrade to something absolutely new and luxurious. What better way to do so than with the help of Adea? Their collection of multi-purpose tops, undergarments, and lingerie is all made of Meryl micro fiber, an Italian jersey. Wonder about what's so special about this micro fiber? You can wear it all year round because it retains your body heat in the cold months yet also lets sweat escape during the warmer months. Items retain their shape, won't stretch out, and are wrinkle resistant so you can scrunch them up in your gym or overnight bag without worry. Sound too good to be true? Well, it gets better. Stylehive and Adea have partnered to giveaway a $250 e-certificate to spend at their online store! Read on to see how you can win.

Puma Gives Sporty Style A Modern Twist With Their New Black ...

Anyone who's anyone has had (or still has) a pair of Pumas on their shoe rack. I remember my first pair. I had orange and blue ones that I got on sale for $9.99 at Urban Outfitters way back in the day. I wore those suckers out to the sole. Now that I am older and more refined (well, at least I think I am), I seldom wear sneakers anymore. I am usually in a nice pair of Chelsea boots or my coveted Ferragamo loafers. That said, I am not the biggest fan of the whole sneaker/dress shoe hybrid-- until I spotted the kicks from Puma's Black Label. The new collection reinvents classic Puma sneakers and tweaks them with new sleek, modern design to amp up the luxury. Using fine Italian leather and infusing it with the brand's signature "roar" of fashion and function, they have revamped the recognizable criss-cross velcro Mostro design and created some new styles that include the Intreccio Mid ankle boot and the Explora ballerina flat. Check out some of the other innovative styles of the new Black Label (all available at store.puma.com).

When was the last time you found yourself doing a double take on a kitchen fixture? If you're like me and happen to pass the Alessi store on the way to work every day, then the answer is somewhere between once a day and more often than is probably healthy. The imaginative Italian design company has been collaborating with designers such as Philippe Starck, Hani Rashid, Frank Gehry, and Alessandro Mendini since 1930 to create the whimsical and equally functional home fixtures and furnishings that are are so instantly recognizable as Alessi. After all, why shouldn't a cotton swab holder have personality? See my wishlist (I mean, our slideshow) and find out what I mean!
