While the 18-hole championship course situated within the 840-acre estate of Adare Manor is any golfer's dream come true, you don't need to be an avid putt-putter to enjoy the unbelievably romantic expanse of the castle resort accommodations. The 5-star hotel draws visitors from all over the globe with its gorgeous manor architecture and nearby villas, fishing and equestrian activities, wine tasting, historical tours, and of course, fine dining at its sophisticated Oakroom Restaurant. But despite its luxe lodgings and offerings, I have to admit what's really luring me in -- actually staying in a real castle in the middle of that lush Ireland scenery would be like living out my wildest fairytale fantasies I've had since childhood! Take a look at the slideshow to be further tempted to book a flight to Ireland for your next princess-worthy vacay!

Fashionistas And Design Enthusiasts Love Ireland's g Hotel

To call Philip Treacy just a milliner is a severe understatement. While he is best known for his award winning hat designs and for his collaborations with Alexander McQueen and Chanel, did you know he's also the Design Director for the g Hotel in Galway, Ireland? It's no surprise that his whimsical hat designs have translated into hotel design as well. From the bubblegum Pink Lounge to seashell decorated rooms, Philip explains his designs as "hats people love to wear. With the g, I have created a place where people will love to be." The g has 101 rooms including the Evangelista Suite (where you can not "wake up for less than $10,000 a day"). All rooms have Treacy-designed Frette linens and even butler service! Take a look at my slideshow to see what living the avant garde life would be like at the g Hotel.

    Influential International Style: Daphne Guinness

Daphne Guinness, heiress to the Guinness family fortune, sure seems to know what she's doing. Quite simply, she's a haute couturier's dream. She's open to all sorts of eclectic, wacky, detailed styling - and has the collection to prove it. Although she seems to prefer a simple color palette of blacks, whites and creams, they never appear the same way. Whether it's a kerchief neckline, Jetson-esque cap sleeves or leopard print detailing, Guinness can pull it off in spades. As one of the world's most prolific collectors of haute couture (what wouldn't you give to also hold that title?), she's a risk-taker, and often a winner of the fashion set. Rather than sticking to any rules, she simply has fun. Think Alexander McQueen meets Karl Lagerfeld meets Vivienne Westwood. Check out my slideshow for a sampling of Daphne Guinness' style! As the resident Irish expert at Stylehive (disclaimer: former Irish dancer, Notre Dame Alumna and Chicago native - the home of the green river... not to mention my birthday is the day after!), I'd like to help you discover the Irish in your for St. Patrick's Day. March 17th only comes around once a year, but since it's on a Tuesday this year, we are lucky enough to celebrate it on the surrounding weekends, too! You know the saying, everyone's Irish on St. Patrick's Day, so celebrate banishing the snakes from the Emerald Isle. You'll be singing "Danny Boy" over this adorable Joe's Jeans Katie Bag and seeing a thousand shades of green after seeing this Volcom Letter Mess Burnout Tank. Old Navy always designs a great t-shirt every year for the occasion, at a great price of $5! Check out my slideshow for some stylish St. Patrick's Day flair!
