    Influential International Style: Charlotte Casiraghi

If there was one icon I could choose to dress exactly like, Princess Charlotte Casiraghi would be it. The girl has it going on - royal pedigree, killer style, and hey, she's an editor-in-chief of Above magazine. Her style can be described as classically tailored, yet with a flair for rock and roll details. Whether she's rocking skinny jeans and boots, and a gorgeous scarf, or making a public appearance in a fabulous black dress with lace detailing, she can make any outfit look spectacular. Having a busy day? Channel Charlotte and pick up your hair in a messy bun, and wrap a scarf like crazy around your neck over a simple t-shirt. Voila! You have a fabulous outfit... and didn't even have to wash your hair. Check out my slideshow for some style tips from the royal herself! Photo credit: PR Photos

    Influential International Style: Diane Kruger

Diane Kruger knows what's up. As the female lead in Inglorious Basterds, as well as the less recent classics like Troy and Wicker Park, she never fails to sparkle in a performance. Although she won the Cannes Chopard Trophy in 2003, I have to say that her performance at Cannes this year really put her in the stratosphere. Her style is impeccable. She takes risks in interesting sleeves, cutaways, crazy patterns and haute couture texture. She tends to stick with basic black, but chooses outrageous texture and true haute couture. It's no wonder she's Karl Lagerfeld's little darling! One of the reasons she's looked so good lately? Karl himself has used her as a muse since she appeared in Chanel handbag ads in 2007. Influential International Style: Chloe Sevigny

Chloe Sevigny knows what she's doing. She's best known for her roles on Big Love and in Boys Don't Cry, but also just as well-known for always looking cool and chic both on and off the red carpet. Though American-born, she seems to possess a European grace and polish to her clothing choices. As the face of fragrance for the house of Chloe, I know I'm not the only one that recognizes her subtle glamour. Her trick? Wearing neutrals and patterns that don't overcome her own beauty, and keeping her hair long and loose. To get her look, choose individual pieces with wonderful detail like scalloping or a reserved lace. Check out my slideshow for Chloe Sevigny style tricks! Photo credit: PR Photos

    Influential International Style: Kate Winslet

Kate Winslet made a serious splash this awards season, and I'm not just talking about taking home all the most coveted hardware and, quite remarkably on its own, being nominated in supporting and leading categories for two different films. On the red carpet, Kate made heads turn. Favoring solid colors and classic shapes, Kate always picks looks that flatter her hourglass figure. Her style is defined by clean lines (she is rarely photographed in patterns) but carries just enough interest to keep us constantly wondering what she'll wear next. Whether its Zac Posen, Dolce & Gabbana, Carmen Marc Valvo or Escada, she always looks good. Check out my slideshow for ways to adopt Kate Winslet's your (friendship with Leonardo Dicaprio not included). Photo credit: PR Photos

Influential International Style: Julia Restoin Roitfeld

Maybe at first blush you didn't recognize the name of this style maven, but if you don't already, you will soon know the grace and pedigree of Julia Restoin Roitfeld. To be fair, she had really great fashion upbringing. Her mother, Carine Roitfeld, is the editor-in-chief of French Vogue and formerly the business partner of Mario Testino and muse to Tom Ford, Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent. The Parsons-educated Julia was the face of Tom Ford's fragrance Black Orchid and her most recent campaign, this time for the new perfume Jil by Jil Sander, will be released soon. What differentiates Julia from most second-generation fashion editors (ahem, Bee Schaffer) is that she takes a unique perspective, and can change the idea you had about a piece of clothing. Like a leopard print tank, sequin miniskirt and oversize blazer. Says Julia, "Some people think that clothes are just things that you wear to cover yourself but I'm blown away because clothes to me are a sort of new pop art. Clothes can be either art or design but need a real purpose." Check out my slideshow for ways to adopt Julia's unique style to your wardrobe! Photo credit: PR Photos
