Many pop stars throw around some sultry rock n' roll looks for their videos and magazine spreads, leaving us feeling like they're playing dress up. Not as much can be said for Swedish songstress
Lykke Li-- she is the real deal. With her long blond hair and angelic eyes rimmed in black liner she is one part angel, one part rock goddess. In her video for hit song "Breaking It Up," she exudes fierce and unapologetic sex appeal. The video feels as though it's set in a modern day Warhol-esque factory and features Lykke dancing around in a totally enviable outfit. A body conscious black dress topped off with an oversized white jacket and some black booties may sound boring at first, but it's anything but. To get the look, try Opening Ceremony's
zip up back lattice dress. While she wears a more exaggerated silhouette jacket, I think the
Madison Marcus "Alliance" jacket would work just as well. Dangerously high black booties are funked up a little bit by layering some mid calf white socks. Don't forget to pile on the rings- one on each finger if you can, or fake it with
