This style of sommerso duck is an icon of Archimede Seguso.  Made in the 1950s in Murano, Italy. Offered as a full set of three.  (1) reaching duck (1) leaning duck (1) perching duck. Very unusual to find as a set. Set of three.  Price reflects irreversible calcium deposits on their feet and tails.  Previous owner must have displayed them in a pond or fountain. Not a good idea...but since it's already happened, these ducks would make excellent pond decor.  The calcium isn't apparent unless studied closely.  These fine ducks would display nicely anywhere, the calcium deposits are light. The calcium deposit on two of the ducks feet and all three tails is hard to see as it is a uniform and shallow 'veil'.  See image 2.  More visible is  the calcium deposits on the feet shown at the left in image 2.  This duck has white deposits showing, on its feet only. No chips or cracks. Bottom-wear present on polished flat bases. Reaching duck is 10' tall, leaning duck is 7.5' tall, perching duck is 7.75' tall.  Each weigh 2 lbs, 6 lbs total weight. These big, beautiful vintage Murano ducks were blown by hand in sommerso (two colors blown together).  Normal price today runs 125.00 to 200.00 each.  Fantastic bargain for the set of three at only 129.00.

Cambridge art glass console set decorated in 'Charleton Roses'. Emerald green (Late Dark Emerald) glass in excellent condition - Decor in Great Condition. Circa late 1940s. Very Rare. The large bowl is Cambridge #3400, 4-toed. The 4-toed version is rare. The bowl ruffles are hand formed and in a style that is uncataloged.  The 'ruffles' are usually soft and uniform (like the comport ruffles for example).  The bowl has a distinct 'Art Deco' ruffle design.  The comports are in the 'Corinth' pattern, Cambridge part no. 3900-136. The stem design looks like artichoke leaves. The color is scarce and the decor style is rare. 'Charleton Roses' decor is hand-painted enamel.  The decoration was done by a company called 'Charleton', many of the old maker's used this decorating company.  It is not often seen in such great condition due to age. All three items are gold trimmed.  The gold is at 98%.  Small unnoticeable rubs for the most part.  In image 6, the compote shows about 1/2' gold trim missing - this is the only noticeable gold miss.  The compote bases were lined with 2 thin circles of gold, which have worn some. The decor shows little wear. 99% of enamel is intact. A few of the little dots (shown in image 6) are rubbed down. The encircled gold leaves show some wear (very little). It is very difficult to detect any wear on the enamel. Large bowl measures 14.5' across at widest.  Compotes measure 5.5' tall and 5.5' at widest. All were made with a 4-part mold, no seams. Bowl was hand flared. Overall Wonderful Condition and Stunning Find!

Stunning antique amberina diamond point full-size beverage pitcher. This was made with a 4-part mold.  4-part molds were used up to the early 1900s, rarely used after. Glass contains Manganese, a mineral added in the late19th century to increase sparkle, glows under blacklight.  See images. Circa estimated late 1800's to 1940. Blown into mold with hand finished spout and applied HOLLOW handle.  The hollow handle suggests a very fine early maker.  Northwood Glass produced a pattern exactly like this called Diamond Point, Westmoreland Glass called theirs English Hobnail (used as a generic name today), but the fine hollow handle suggests others like Imperial Glass or New England Glass.    In very good++ condition. Bottom wear is heavy as it should be.  Two small aged smoothed chiggers and one 1/8 inch stress mark (does not affect integrity of glass) beneath the daisy marked base.  Pitcher must be turned upside-down to see it.   The rest of the glass is in pristine condition.  A few tiny bubbles in the glass are present and are expected in old pattern glass.  The bubbles can't be seen unless inspected closely. The Ripple faucet creates a new, fun way to interact with water. Drawing inspiration from surface ripples, the faucet creates a strong visual relationship between the two. On top of the frosted ripple surface sits a metal ball. An array of electromagnetic sensors detects that ball’s position. Moving the ball in or out from the center controls water pressure. Moving it around controls temperature.

Large and impressive cased glass vase with cobalt snake and lotus blossom base. In excellent condition. Absolutely beautiful.  Stands 12.25' tall, sits on a 5.5' wide cobalt blossom base.  Weighs 3 lbs. This is Arts & Crafts and Art Nouveau styling, early 1900's, with a flair for the natural/organic.  Age of the vase is unknown, but it is not new. Est. circa 1920s - 1930s. Handblown cased glass.  Interior opaque white, pulled decor encased in clear glass. The cobalt blue glass blossom base and snake are applied.  The snake has eyes (see image 4).  Base is ground and pontil mark is concave. Unmarked. Set of 8 Royal Ruby glass Newport Carnation premium tumblers. In Excellent Condition. Appear unused. Circa 1940-1950 by Anchor Hocking, patented color.  Given away as premiums in boxes of Carnation Instant Milk. Anchor Hocking listed this tumbler shape as 'Newport Royal Ruby 5' water tumblers'. Blown into mold, no seams. Beautifully preserved and scarce, especially as a set . retroartglass . com       

Handblown tall tapered tumblers and tidbit dish with billions of bubbles. Set includes 4 tumblers and one matching bent dish. Blown by hand with soft pontil mark on seats.  Glass is and clear and purplish burgundy infused with foamy bubbles.  A rim of solid burgundy glass was hand-applied on each and hand-tooled to create 3 very small spouts on each rim. The freeform dish does not have the solid burgundy trim. The tumblers are weighted with 1/2' solid glass bases.  Glass fobs shown in dish (image 2) are not included.  Green vase by Erik Hoglund in image 5 is available separately. Grape amethyst decanter and candleholders (all available separately) in image 7 are shown to help define color.  Soft round pontil on base with polished sitting ridge. Some bottom wear on polished seat. Heavy glass, each weigh 1.2 lbs. Stand 5.25' tall (height varies slightly), 3.25' wide mouth, base is 2' wide. Dish measures 4' x 4'.
