Heidi Klum Will Host The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show!

    image

We're almost a bit surprised that Heidi Klum is hosting the Victoria's Secret fashion show instead of modeling in it. Of course, she did just have a baby a couple weeks ago, but you know how Heidi is. The last time Heidi Klum had a baby, she decided she still wanted to walk the runway in the Victoria's Secret fashion show. But this time, she just doesn't think she can do it. According to Heidi, "The last time [I gave birth], I had two months, and I don't know if I have that much time this time... It was pushing it the last time. But if I don't make it, I'm sure I'll be very sad." So, even though Heidi will only have weeks between giving birth and the fashion show this year, she still wants to be a part of it. And obviously hosting the show is a really big part of it!

Hot In The Hive: Michael Kors Very Hollywood Solid Perfume ...

Ok, I can't be the only person who's ecstatic about the return of Michael Kors as a judge on Project Runway, right? I didn't know I could miss his clever and biting quips ("slutty slutty slutty" and "insane crotch" come to mind) more than Heidi Klum misses being pregnant. Michael Kors has the American sportswear market cornered with his sophisticated yet effortlessly styled clothing. So I wasn't surprised when browsing through Sephora that he's lent his name to various fragrances too. Of course, Michael understands the value of having something with multiple functions. His Very Hollywood Solid Perfume Cocktail Ring definitely fits the bill because it may look like a showstopping cocktail ring, but if you slide the gem over, it's also a solid perfume. The Very Hollywood perfume has notes of sparkling mandarin, gardenia, and vetiver for a fresh yet distinctive scent. Go ahead, dab some on at your pulse points and get ready to steal the show!

    Price: $40

Designer Elite And Their Muses Shine At The CFDA Fashion Awards

The CFDA Fashion Awards is one of the few red carpet occasions where A-listers not only wear their favorite designers' dresses, but actually arrive with their favorite designer linked to their elbow! And while the star-studded event, which took place at New York's Lincoln Center and was hosted by funny gal Tracy Ullman, was certainly dedicated to honoring fashion design's finest, the arrival parade highlighted both designers and their famous fans alike. Alexander Wang, Anna Sui, and sister design duo Rodarte were among the night's top winners, while celebrity-couturier pairings like Heidi Klum with Michael Kors and Claire Danes with Narciso Rodriguez, along with other solo arrivals, made the canopy entrance a stylish star-studded sight to behold. Take a look at the slideshow for some of the night's most notable attendees! Photo Credit: PR Photos

Which Celeb Rocked The Quirkiest Costume At The Met Ball?

    image

Forget the Oscars -- The Met Costume Ball is the event when it comes to celebs and fashion, more specifically when it comes to gossiping about celebs and their rather "interesting" taste in fashion. New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art was mobbed with famous faces, representing young and old Hollywood alike in both the variety of attendees themselves and with the style of their ensembles, ranging from exquisitely glamorous and timeless to innovative and uniquely modern. Given that the theme of this year's spring gala was "Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion," I couldn't help but be slightly concerned on behalf of a few celebs who seemed to have inspired some rather unsavory sheaths. For example, if I were Heidi Klum (in some glorious alternate universe), I just might be slightly alarmed and/or insulted if my serving as a muse resulted in a black and blue octopus-looking number reminiscent of Ursula from the The Little Mermaid. I realize she's trying to hide a baby bump, and bless her, but... really? Furthermore, Gossip Girls Leighton Meester and Blake Lively seemed to be in a contest for most unflattering frock, Molly Sims dressed up as some kind of misshapen cowbell, and Rihanna channeled a sort of couture Michael Jackson. It's sad that the more chic costumes had to be upstaged by the wardrobe disasters, but the Met Ball just wouldn't be the same without the fashion missteps! Vote below on which costume you think was the craziest. Photo Credit: PR Photos

    Influential International Style: Heidi Klum

    image

Oh, to be Heidi Klum. "The Body" / Victoria's Secret Angel / Project Runway host / wife of Seal / mother of soon-to-be four is also an international style icon. Her quirky personality, signature gams and sense of humor all lend herself to being loved worldwide. She seems to bridge the gap between uniquely European, but also possessing the intense charm of an American girl. Want to dress like Heidi? Well, sure, it helps to have the body that's sold countless bras and panties around the world, but following a few rules, you can achieve Heidi status. 1) Don't be afraid of color. Heidi loves rich color, and fabulous texture. 2) Work it in heels. Give yourself the couple inches every woman needs! 3) Dress for success. Dresses are the best tool to show off a woman's frame. Apply liberally. And 4) Be yourself. Are all of her choices fashion-forward? Questionable. However, you can imagine why the girl who yodels also makes some of the wardrobe choices she does. Swimsuit season is right around the corner and as you sculpt your body into bikini-worthy shape with diet and exercise, it's nice to know that a recent study in the New England Journal of Medicine reports that the type of diet you use to slim down doesn't matter as much as sticking to it. That's right. You can forget yo-yo, crash or fad diets. But it won't make one ounce of difference if you follow Atkins, the Zone, Volumetrics, Weight Watchers, the South Beach Diet, the Sonoma Diet or any others. Like a lot of areas of life, it's persistence that pays off. Well, that plus healthy eating and exercise. One in a million can look like Heidi Klum without effort but the rest of us mortals have to work at it. Need some motivation? Just dangle one of these fab vintage swimsuits like a carrot and keep on crunching! Click the slideshow to see the selection.
