    Hot In The Hive: Purse Flats!

    Who says you need to sacrifice quality for comfort? Purse Flats are comfy portable shoes that fold up neatly into a cute accompanying clutch to salvage stiletto-sore feet on the dance floor, out on the town, or even during long meetings at work. Since they've been spotted on Mya during her "Dancing With The Stars" rehearsals, you gotta figure they must be pretty comfortable, not to mention sturdy! Sure, they're not as affordable as the vending machine Rollasole version, but a portion of the proceeds is donated to support underprivileged youth! Plus, since I have yet to find a shoe dispenser at any club I've been to, Purse Flats sound like a pretty dependable alternative on the go!

    LimeLife Spots Suri Cruise Wearing Heels Again!

    Seriously? We don't understand what's going on. Does Katie Holmes think this is cute? Honestly, we're concerned for any child that's allowed to be out and about wearing high heel shoes. And Suri Cruise is wearing them again. When we were kids, we all had those little sparkly plastic high heels. We'd wear them while playing dress-up, walk horribly in them, and throw them off. But Suri Cruise is already a high-heel walking expert at age three. Do you think this is a good thing or is it horribly inappropriate? At least Suri's heels weren't as high this time and they seemed to fit her a bit better (the last ones were way too big), but how many pairs of high heels does Suri have? With so many cute pairs of kid's flats out there, we don't get why Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise allow Suri to wear heels. She'll have plenty of time for that!     Katy Perry Rocks Rupert Sanderson For Karl Lagerfeld ...

    UK shoe designer Rupert Sanderson recently announced his second collaboration with the legendary Karl Lagerfeld, updating his popular Asteroid and Finesse heel styles for spring/summer 2010. Lagerfeld wanted a futuristic-looking shoe to coordinate with his runway show, and Sanderson obliged by adding a geometric heel, then took it to another level by altering ankle straps to loop under the sole and bolting them in place for a dominatrix-inspired detail. In colors and fabrics like white hot suede and metallic silver leather, they were a dangerously perfect complement to Lagerfeld's futuristic 'rock goddess' collection. Katy Perry attended Lagerfeld's show in a pair from Sanderson's debut collection for Karl- what do you think of her front row look? Would you wear these shoes? (See more of them here.)

    This Season's Hottest Shoes Mix Leather And Lace

    As if you need any new additions to your "Shoes I Must Have NOW" list, the latest invasion of sexy footwear is more flirty than ever. Lace details, cut-outs, and overlays are popping up everywhere, in both high-end and affordable brands, from demure J. Crew ballet flats to seriously fierce peep-toe booties by Stuart Weitzman. While lace and leather may more commonly conjure up visions of risque lingerie, and let's face it -- those see-through excuses for lace pants are better suited as a doily than on an actual person (unless you're Lady GaGa), lace-embellished shoes are hot because they bring a certain sexiness without making you feel exposed.     Collab Update: The Jimmy Choo For H&M Lookbook!

    What's better than news of a hot designer collab, a.k.a. a collection of pretty things I can suddenly afford? How about an impeccably styled lookbook to go along with it? Images from the Jimmy Choo for H&M collection (set to arrive in select H&M stores November 14) are circling the web, and here's the rundown. Lots of leather? Check. Hot male models? Check (okay, model). Studded accessories? Check. And while the London-based luxury label is certainly known for its shoes above all else, I have to say I'm much more impressed with the belts, bracelets, and bags. That cross-body hobo and stud embellished belt will be mine, and if I have to camp out all night to get them, it will be worth it. Oh, and prices haven't been released yet, so I can still make mental wishlists of everything from the collection I'm craving and actually believe they'll end up in my closet. Sweet!
