Hot In The Hive: Kymera Magic Wand

    image

If you're a Harry Potter fan and you've got multiple remote controls sitting on your coffee table (or lost in the crevices of your sofa) then here's something right up your alley. The Kymera magic wand may look like a prop straight out of Hogwarts, but you can actually use it to create some magic of your own! It is a universal remote with an accelerometer inside, where you can program 13 different functions activated by gestures such as rotating, flicking, and tapping. Since you program the gestures yourself and an available practice mode, there's no need to be Hermione Granger to get to the channel you want. That means you can put away all those remote controls and replace it with something totally fun, unique, and will mystify anyone who encounters it. It's currently available for pre-order and ships October 1st, which means you'll totally have it in time to impress your guests at your Halloween party!

    Price: 49.95 GBP

Which Of Emma Watson's Event Ensembles Is Most Enchanting?

When she's not busy burying her nose in spell books, donning dress robes, and getting all "teenage-angsty" over a not-quite-budding romance with Ron Weasley, Emma Watson is quite the young fashion icon. Known for her love of Chanel eveningwear, her buddy-buddiness with Karl Lagerfeld, and her role as Burberry's fresh fall face, Emma seems to have the whole "effortlessly elegant" look down pat. And now with "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" in full media swing, she's charming big-screen audiences and red carpet rompers alike with her collection of captivating big-night dresses. From Hogwarts to Hollywood and beyond, not even the Sectumsempra curse could stop her style-savviness! Vote below on which of Hermione's many outfits you find most bewitching! Photo Credit: PR Photos

Hot In The Hive: Rebound Designs Book Bags

    image

Attention all bookworms and bag snobs! Despite the well-known cliche, we've all judged a book by its cover. We haven't all, however, ripped that cover off of its book and turned it into a super cool handmade handbag! Rebound Designs does just that, recycling old or damaged hardcover books and transforming some of your favorite new and classic titles into cute, fully-functional and collapsible totes. From Little Women to Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, you can browse by title or just pick your favorite color and design combo -- you can even contact the creators to donate your own used book for a fully-customized creation! It would still be super-dorky of you, but I think this is a much wiser way to wear your Twilight fandom on your arm than that tattoo you were considering...

Price: about $130 and up, depending on the design

Emma Watson Trades Hogwarts For Burberry

    image

All I can say is WOW after looking at the new Emma Watson ads for Burberry. Photographed by Mario Testino, the 19 year-old Emma (aka Hermione Granger in the "Harry Potter" flicks) looks all grown up and oh so stylish as the new face of the British fashion house. She's definitely come a long way from the bushy haired character she's plays! It comes to no surprise that she's landed a major campaign like this, but after months of speculation and many photo ops with Karl Lagerfeld, many were hoping she'd be the face of Chanel instead. Nonetheless, Emma wears the classic Burberry tartan plaid and trench coats like any seasoned fashion pro. See more photos at the UK's Daily Mail. Madonna, Oprah, Bono- it doesn't take a last name to know who these celebs are. Taking that idea in mind, there are plenty of other first names you'd know if they were grouped together. Los Angeles-based The Names Brand was inspired by the iconic John & Paul & Ringo & George T-Shirt by Experimental Jetset, a design group from Amsterdam. The Names Brand has taken that idea and ran with other pop culture icons from the Jolie-Pitt family to the Spice Girls. Show your "Gossip Girl" pride with a Dan & Blair & Nate & Jenny & Chuck & Serena shirt or geek out politically with the names of the Supreme Court Justices on your chest. Best part is, they're not reserved just for t-shirts. Get hoodies, tote bags, buttons, baby onesies and bibs all with your favorite names on them. You can even contact them for custom orders too! Order by 3/12 and get 17% off your order with code MARCH19 with a $25+ purchase. Click the slideshow to see more names you'll be proud to show off.
