September is a big month for fashion. It's the start of fashion weeks and new collections are out that will define the trends for the year to come.

So it's a no-brainer that landing a cover of one of fashion's most read magazines is a big deal.

We've got some of Tinsel Town's hottest leading ladies on the covers of some of the hottest fashion magazines out there and of course we have to ask - Which star looks the fiercest on her cover?

Gwyneth Paltrow taps into her wild side on the cover of Elle September 2011 in a black micro-mini and embellished leather top. We love the drama of her over-sized sleeves!

Beyonce channels Sasha Fierce on the cover of Harper's Bazaar UK in a slick red dress and a sexy smoky eye. Her matching 'femme fatale' nails are the perfect touch.

Emma Stone is the teen queen with her glowing cover for Teen Vogue. We love the bright coat for fall and her bare-faced beauty look.

Anne Hathaway graces the cover of Marie Claire in a star-studded dress and her famous wide smile. We like how she lets the dress make the statement by pairing it with no accessories and a clean, fresh makeup look.

Let us know who gets your vote for the best September issue magazine cover by taking the poll below!

Lauren Hutton - Fabulous Fashion Fairy Godmother

by Lesley Scott
Jan 26, 2011 1:40 PM PST

From working with Richard Avedon and Diana Vreeland, to starring in Tom Ford's recent fashion show, longtime uber-model Lauren Hutton has enjoyed one of the fashion industry's most enduring careers.

'I became a model to see the world, to make enough money to travel and experience other cultures,' she explains in the February issue of Harper's Bazaar. 'I knew I had to get to New York to get to Africa.'

And with a career spanning almost five decades and well into her mid-60s, she posed for Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's 2008 lookbook.

'I think I was 64 at the time and they were 22. I thought that was fantastically hip. I did it, and they paid me in clothes, which is great,' she notes, showing off the jeans and workmans shirt she's wearing - both from the Row.

Adds Ashley, 'She stays true to herself. I think that's what's reflected in her photographs,' says Ashley, to which M-K adds - 'She took a chance on a brand that no one knew just because she liked it. We think of her as our fairy godmother.'
