  An alternate take on my orbit ring design~all in sterling silver! Two textured oxidized discs of silver appear to be in orbit on a slender, sturdy and comfortable band of square sterling silver wire. Best of all, this ring is adjustable to fit sizes 6-9 and can even be stacked with other rings! The two discs measure 3/16" (5mm) and 5/16" (8mm) in diameter. The square style sterling wire is hard soldered onto the discs. The square style wire is just as comfortable to wear as traditional half-round wire. I created the texture on the discs by imprinting a fabric texture onto the silver and by hammer forging. The oxidized finish enhances the contrast of the design.

  Queen For A Day: This section is devoted to some of my more ambitious and involved pieces. You never know when your prince may come...so it's a good idea to have your shopping list ready! "O"-La-La Necklace: An "O" to inspire "oohs" and "ahs"! The central "O" in kiln-fired lime green glass enamel is flanked on either side by a trio of glass enamel teardrops in turquoise, lime green, and cerulean blue enamel for a refreshing summery pallette and linked with a handmade chain of sterling silver rings, interspersed with larger sterling silver "O"s. All enamel components are copper and are fully enameled on both sides for a seamless look. The sterling silver "O"s have a brushed finish. The central enamel "O" measures 1.5" or 3.8cm, the sterling silver "O"s are .75" or 1.9cm and 1" or 2.5cm. The total length of the necklace is 18" or 46cm long. The clasp is a heavy duty, high quality sterling silver lobster clasp. This necklace can be shortened or lengthened upon request.
