Ever since Alexander Wang came out with his handbag line, the too-cool totes have been seen on celebs from Mary-Kate Olsen to Kristin Cavallari, blogged about to death, and coveted by yours truly. One of my favorites was the 'Diego' bag-- a drawstring bucket bag that would have been perfect with any outfit! Alas, it's been long sold out everywhere so I've been on the hunt ever since. Drawstring bags always remind me of the purses my mother had in the 90s, so while their modern cousins have retro roots, they're totally current and fashion-forward. Drawstring closures are handy when you need to pack a whole day's worth of stuff without jamming a zipper. Best of all, they come in all different styles from totes to hobo bags!
