You know you've reached the height of inner and outer beauty when you're honored by the likes of Glamour Magazine as one of their proclaimed Women Of The Year. The annual event, which honors twelve women of all ages and walks of life, took place at New York City's Carnegie Hall for its 2009 edition. Among its impressive array of honorees were Rihanna and Amy Poehler, who seemed humble to be in one another's presence, yet looked equally fabulous upon arrival! After all, if you're going to be in the company of such iconic women as Maya Angelou and Maria Shriver, the least you can do is be on your style A-game! Lending fellow ladies their support were supermodel Iman and Katharine McPhee, who were also gorgeous in their evening attire... but they can't all be deemed best dressed! Vote below on which lady took the fashion lead! Photo Credit: PR Photos

Get Your Own "Little Miss Lanvin" Doll

Jeanne Lanvin founded the fashion house we know as Lanvin in 1889. In 2001, Alber Elbaz took over as artistic director and the house has never been the same since. His designs grace the red carpet and hang in fashionista's closets everywhere. Along with the gorgeous gowns, he incorporates cute "Little Miss Lanvin" illustrations on some cheeky t-shirts and sweaters. Now they're stepping into 3-D. Lanvin has partnered up with the porcelain company Franz to make "Little Miss Lanvin" dolls. Each season there will be 6 new limited edition porcelain dolls, with just 800 released. Priced at $345 each, they each come packaged in Lanvin's signature pale blue box. The idea is homage to Jeanne Lanvin's part in the post-war Theatre de la Mode show, in which French couturiers showcased their designs through miniature dolls, due to the lack of fabric. Spring '08 and Spring '09 dolls are out now, and the newest collection will be out soon. Check www.franzcollection.com to find out where you can buy them!

Now that school has started and you've worn all your new outfits and caught up with old friends, rehashed summer memories, and compared schedules with classmates, the excitement of starting a new academic year has probably worn off. It seems like papers, quizzes, and reading assignments are the only things to look forward to now. Wait? Isn't homecoming right around the corner? I remember the fun chaos that went into planning the perfect night of the biggest school dance of the year (well, except for prom) and plus, it was a school function that let's you stay out past curfew! Sweet! So first things first, you need to find yourself a charming young man to take you, figure out a ride (is it going to be his mom's Oldsmobile, or is there a limo in the mix?), then there's the hair and make-up, and last, but by far not the least ... you need to find the perfect dress! The thing is though, this is a high-school dance after all and not your wedding your planning so you may not be looking to blow your entire budget or have your parents take out a second mortgage to find the ideal gown. Let us help you find the best dress for you on your budget! And as long as it's cute, anything goes these days from traditional floor sweeping gowns to higher hemlines so click on the slide-show to see some great ideas!

Any type of award show or gala or red carpet event is exciting. The flashbulbs and the paparazzi, the celebrities and of course, the main event itself! But, we all know the most appealing and fun part of these functions: Who is wearing what? The American Ballet Theater held its 69th Annual Spring Gala on May, 18th and dozens of celebrities and famous names and faces came out in their most elegant floor-sweeping gowns to help celebrate the event. Held at the Metropolitan Opera House, a steady stream of celebrities and beauties sashayed past photographers and showed off their beautiful gowns. Anna Wintour showed her fashion roots in an ankle-length gown with origami pleating details and an elegant mottled pattern that showed off her impressive figure. Coco Rocha stunned in a bright, ocean blue, off-the-shoulder ruffled number that contrasted beautifully with her fiery hair and porcelain skin. Iman showed who was top model in an eye-catching, one-shouldered ball gown in peridot green, playing up her skin's gorgeous tone. Which style-savvy fashionista do you think stole the spotlight? Take our poll and tell us your opinion! Photo credit: PR Photos

Which Country Cutie Had The Winning Look At The Academy Of ...

Okay, I have to admit -- I used to hate country music. From the slow twangy accents to the depressingly lame lyrics about dead dogs and barbecue stains and broken hearts, I just could never get into it... until recently! With the invasion of young powerhouse vocalists like Lady Antebellum and Carrie Underwood ("Last Name" -- finally a country song I can relate to! Just kidding...) and down-to-earth lyrics from the likes of Taylor Swift and Sugarland, today's country seems to have adopted a hipper vibe, a more rock-ish sound, and an overall edgier quality that gives the genre a more modern infectious energy and mass worldwide appeal! And to celebrate such musical innovation, the Academy of Country Music Awards honored music mavens young and old in Las Vegas this past Sunday, and if the genre's leading ladies weren't already enviable enough in their awards-sweeping talent and golden-haired good looks, their glamorous red carpet gowns almost stole the show out of their own hands! Carrie Underwood, the night's biggest winner, toned down her usual sparkle with a fairytale-esque pastel ensemble, while Taylor Swift donned a mature one-shoulder red gown by Angel Sanchez that matched both the carpet and the backdrop, yet had her standing out just the same! Vote below on which of country's biggest stars made the best red carpet appearance! Photo Credit: PR Photos
