Last week we had asked you to weigh in on who you thought was the best dressed star at the Oscars! With over half of all the votes, the winner was Halle Berry!

In her sparkling champagne Marchesa gown and showing off her sculpted shoulders in a sexy sweetheart neckline, it's easy to see why this beautiful actress was voted as the best. We love that she chose to let the gorgeous details of the dress take center stage and kept accessories to an elegant minimal.

We're showing you how to get her look - from sultry smoky eye to glittering princess gown - so you can look like a star for your next fancy soiree (ok, maybe minus the frothy long train in the back, cute as that was ...)!

Label Love - Marchesa S/S 2011

Couture fashion is truly an art form and nobody understood that better than Marchesa at this years' recent New York Fashion Week. Featuring a variety of cocktail dresses and evening gowns, each creation was done in frothy fabrics, sheer lace and gauzy silks. Expert draping and intricate cut-outs were at once elegant and edgy and showed the true genius behind Marchesa designs.

Extremely feminine, elaborate designs were featured in a soft palette of creams and whites with hints of faded jade and anchored with black and punches of purple and blue. Each piece was a uniquely creative look with jaw dropping, lust-inducing details with strapless minis and floor-sweeping gowns alike each more breath taking than the last. Differing in design with short hemlines, overwhelming ruffles and tiers and peek-a-boo lace jumpsuits, all pieces were individual but a cohesive collection in direction and beauty and head-turning awe.
