I took AP Calculus senior year of high school. I learned how to integrate. I learned how to derive. I learned tons of other stuff of which the name escapes me. But what I really liked seeing every morning when I went to math class was the colorful array of fractal pictures tacked up above the chalkboard. To an the artistic eye, such as my own, the pictures of fractals, despite their psychedelic color scheme, were a sight of sweet relief from number. This headband, although not quite a fractal, reminds me of one. Its star burst pattern of self-similar, angular folds, radiating out from their gathered center creates a fine structure that's infinitely complex. Though I can't claim to know how to use fractals, I do know how to use this headband. It's a stunningly easy way to add a chic touch to a sleek party dress and heels, or a more laid back t-shirt and pinstripes. It's raven black color means it will match to any outfit in an way much more refined than an every-color-inclusive fractal. So, even if I can't brag about my calculus prowess, I know that I can rely on this headband to show my smarts - my style smarts, that is. Next time I need to wrap my head around a fashionable look, I'll place this headband in my hair, and ace any haute-level test that comes my way. - Hannah, Fashion Writer
