The vest is back and what a fun little piece of clothing! So many ways to wear it...so many styles to choose from...so many moods to create. Unless you're planning on a knitted version with bells and snowmen, it's pretty hard to go wrong. And with cuts for every type of figure, from buxom to petite, there's a figure-flattering vest out there for any shape or size. Originally introduced by Charles II of England way back in the 1600s, the recent menswear revival puts vests front and center for the next few months. And the good news is that vintage vests are plentiful and, quite often, inexpensive. Just click the SLIDESHOW for some inspiration!

What do you get when you mix a wearable dosage of femininity, playfulness, and flattering cuts? Why, Madison Marcus of course. Madison Marcus is designed by New York based Jessica Sturman, who preceding her women's clothing line worked in and array of fashion houses. Just two years old as of this August, Madison Marcus has become an established fashion force in record time. Lucky Magazine introduced the line as, "A great, wearable mix of feminine pieces with quiet sex appeal." -- and really isn't that what makes up the perfect garment?! Each piece is easy to wear, day or night, and can be dressed up or down. I own a flutter sleeved black dress with a cutout neckline and I can proudly say that it is my absolute favorite, hands down. Still don't think you need Madison Marcus in your life? Check out the video where LX.TV chats with the designers and checks out some of their favorite pieces! Post video watching check out the SLIDESHOW to get Madison Marcus in your closet, or at the very least in your hive.

I always have to laugh when I read columns convincing women that they will look slimmer if they wear this top, these pants, this swimsuit. I mean really, is everyone else out to make us look fatter? So rather than just simply telling you what to go out and get, I€™m going to give you a few tips to make the most of what you already have. We€™ll start with tops. First things first. Ladies, get fitted for the right bra. Yes, the process is all kinds of awkward, but being without personal space for a few minutes is more than worth it once you see how well your clothes fit, and no joke, you can actually look around ten pounds thinner. Take that, cabbage soup diet!
