Daisy If You Do Dress

When trying to come up with a name for this earthen brown, collared dress, I couldn't help but notice that the cream-colored print resembles a field of daisies missing half their petals, creating the effect of these dainty patterns winking at me with long-lashed eyelids. This detail, along with the piping at the yoke, around the pocket flaps, and all along the five-snap placket that gives this dress a western design, led me to think of the charming feistiness of one of my favorite figures in history - Doc Holliday. I picture him being challenged by an opponent, quipping his famous "You'll be a daisy if you do" line, and then - just at the perfect time - batting an eyelash to throw off the concentration of his opponent. Wear this dress, however, and you're bound to be a fine-looking focal point so darling that you'll make it impossible for onlookers to divert their gaze from you when you cinch in some shape at the waist with a belt, tie a scarf around your neck, and slip your feet into some slouchy boots for a look hotter than the Arizona desert. So, if you're tired of gambling with inferior fashions, this dress is your huckleberry! -Richard, Fashion Writer
