  Fatima means "wise woman" or "dedicated". The Fatima earrings received their name after Fatima in Middle East History. I took Middle Eastern History in college, and my professor's pronunciation of the name was so lovely: "Fah--da-mah" rather than "Fuh-tee-ma", and since then I've always loved the name, Fatima. The Fatima earrings are created with a large, rectangular, bright orange carnelian stone, hand-twisted sterling silver wire, and a 6 mm teal-colored Swarovski crystal. Earwires are sterling silver.
