Okay, so in the past you may have opted to take your car to the corner Starbucks instead of trekking the required block on-foot. You may have thrown a water bottle or two in the trash when there wasn't a conveniently-placed recycle bin right next to it. You may have even sprayed a few dozen extra spritzes of aerosol hairspray when that stubborn cowlick just wouldn't stay put this past New Year's Eve. But it's still only the start of the New Year, and it's not too late to set a plan to revamp the way you treat Mother Earth! The truth is, being eco-conscious is a lot easier and more chic than its stereotype may lead you to presume. For example, you don't need to turn to natural hippie waves and completely give up your blown-out hair -- just replace your normal energy-eating dryer for an Eco-Air conserving one. And the next time you're in need of a hot pair of jeans, look for a pair made from organic cotton -- they'll look just as great, but have your conscience feeling way better! Check the slideshow to see how you can style yourself sustainable in the year ahead!

Luckily, my stubbornness has subsided thanks to a deliciously fabulous crop of winter coats that have emerged this season that will keep you warm without making you look like a big giant marshmallow.
