Carmen Marc Valvo built upon this trademark for his Spring 2009 collection, choosing to focus on one detail in particular- the square. Body-con woven ribbon dresses, gorgeous metallic leather square skirts, eye-catching patent square sequin appliques, and geometric basket woven details transformed pretty dresses into show-stopping numbers, and swimsuits were given the square treatment as well.
