Now fashionistas have a place to stay in Edinburgh! Hotel Missoni has finally opened on the Royal Mile and there are more of them to come all over the world. At 74, Rosita Missoni, the doyenne of the Italian knitwear dynasty, has set out to start a chain of boutique hotels. Each hotel is the expression of her creative and artistic vision and sets out to bring out the warmth and color of an Italian family home but with a twist. In signature Missoni style, you're bound to find plenty of bright saturated colors, stripes, and of course, tons of Missoni zig zags. The hotel promises "the warmth and passion of an Italian home," and no Italian home would be complete without a great restaurant serving modern Italian fare. At the Edinburgh location the waiters even wear Missoni kilts while they provide stellar service at Cucina Missoni. Now if only the closet came stocked with Missoni's newest collection... that would make it pure heaven! Not planning on being in Edinburgh anytime soon? You can check out their hotels opening soon in Kuwait, Cape Town and Oman! Check out some of the gorgeous rooms in the slideshow.

Find yourself with a little extra time on your hand? Maybe you're between jobs and just need a break. Might I suggest a rail trip across Europe. No, seriously! It's probably less expensive than you think. A 15-day Global Pass is $449, which you can use in 21 different countries. There are something like 800 different combinations you can use for one country, a region, or up to 5 select countries. If you're 25 or under, you still qualify for this youth pricing - so take advantage! It's just so fun to invent your own trip. Why not celebrate fashion in Italy with shoes in Rome, dresses in Milan, and handbags in Florence? Or explore the pubs in Ireland or taste the schnitzel in Germany. Remember - packing is key for a trip like this. You'll have to carry everything on your person, unless you can lock up at train station while you explore. A cute day-time bag is necessary, as are comfy walking shoes and tons of wrinkle-resistant clothes. But don't bring too much - you're sure to find special pieces to add to your collection back home! Check out eurail.com for more information and GET GOING!

    Influential International Style: Ivanka Trump

    image

When it comes to fashion, Paris Hilton proves to us that billionaire heiresses do not necessarily hold the keys to style. However, Ivanka Trump is a big exception. Besides creating a name for herself as a VP of her father's real estate corporation and also starting her own jewelry line with a flagship store on Madison Avenue in New York, Trump manages to dress with sophistication and class. The Wharton School-educated Trump knows the value of a good little black dress, and its potential to carry from business meetings to the red carpet. Don't peg her into a corner though, because just when you think she might be a little boring, she'll wear something fabulously avant garde. Ivanka Trump knows the value of classic hair and make-up, and also a great pair of colored shoes to pump up an outfit. At any rate, she looks fabulous, and is consistent with good decision-making for red carpets around the world! Check out my slideshow for ideas of how to emulate Trump's style in your life!
