    Influential International Style: Michelle Obama

Ever since she hit the campaign trail in her classic cardigans, and sassy jewel tones, yes, with her guns blazing, we knew Michelle Obama was a First Lady we could believe in. Besides being one of the most highly-educated women to ever hold the number two spot at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, she is an accomplished lawyer raised with real South Side Irish roots. Moreover, she has a gorgeous sense of style. Flattering sheath dresses, fun accessories, and a mixing of designer clothing with more common retail brands are the caveats of her first few months in office. Whether it's for a date night with the Commander in Chief or to tend her garden, Mrs. Obama always brings grace and elegance to any occasion. Check out my slideshow for ways to bring hope to your closet!

    Get Your Vote On!

Okay, what are you waiting for? If you didn't vote early, tomorrow you'll be off to the polls. But be sure to do it in style- indie style, that is. And since you can't wear your fave presidential candidate's gear when you go to vote, how about one of these creative tees? If "Please Vote" is a little tame for you, Kwvh has other designs for more mature tastes. And while you are in the voting mood, tell us which of these t-shirts is your favorite: "Please Vote", "To the Polls", "The Pressure's On" or "I Love People Who Vote."

Rock the Vote with TOMS Shoes!

Looking for a fashionable alternative to clunky pins and buttons to support your candidate? Look no further than the TOMS "Vote" shoe. You can pick Republican with an elephant or Democrat with a donkey. Still haven't made up your mind yet? There's a pair of shoes for you too- the "Split Decision" with both symbols! Not only will you be making your message with some fashionable and comfy shoes, just like all of the other TOMS shoes, but for every pair you purchase, the company donates a pair of shoes to an underprivileged child. Since 2006, TOMS has given over 60,000 pairs of shoes to children in Argentina and South Africa. Check out the SLIDESHOW to see the styles, but make sure to get them before voting day on Nov 4th!
