How Do You Prefer Brad: White-Hot Or Dark & Handsome?

    image

This past week has been a big one for Brad Pitt (then again, when isn't it a good week to be Brad Pitt?) with the recent Hollywood premiere of his latest film, Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds. Decked out in head-to-toe black, save for a pair of gold-rimmed aviators and some goatee scruff, he looked sharp as always and accessorized flawlessly with leather-clad Angelina Jolie on his arm for nearly the entire night. Despite all the excitement, he wasn't too busy to lend support to pals Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams at the NYC premiere of The Time Traveler's Wife just two days later -- only this time dressed in head-to-toe white... with a similar pair of aviators and the same scruffy facial hair. Uh, Brad? What's with the monochromatic menswear? While we understand the desire to match and coordinate, that doesn't mean you need to wear all the same color... especially when these suit shades can hardly even be considered "colors!" I guess there's no use complaining -- the man still looks good, no matter how much variation he seems to lack. Personally, I enjoy him most in his wide-open bathrobe in Fight Club, but since that's not an option, vote below on which one-color ensemble you like best: Brad in white or Brad in black? Graduation Dresses That Are Too Cute To Be Covered By Your ...

If I had to pick one of the most unfashionable inventions ever, it's the graduation gown. Forcing kids to wear them on their big special day just seems like a cruel and unusual tradition that will never die. Sure, it makes your entire class look uniform like a big army of ants or a school of fish (depending on what horrendous color of the rainbow you're forced to don for the sake of school spirit), but it's just not the cutest way to embark upon the next chapter of your life. The only way to somewhat make up for this tragically dowdy damper of Grad Day joy is to ensure that what you're wearing underneath your gown is cute and festive enough to have you ready for the post-ceremony celebrations in one second flat (because that's how quickly you'll be disposing of that frumpy sheath)! Whether your style is fun and floral for a summery morning commencement and brunch to follow, done-up and dramatic for a momentous evening occasion and post-party, or casual-cool for your small artsy school, I've found plenty of graduation dresses that will help you start your summer right, diploma in hand (and won't make you look even bulkier under that gown)! Check out the slideshow for some of my favorite commencement day frocks!

Look Fashionably Fierce In A Bengal Stripe Shirt

A Bengal stripe button shirt is a fancy way of saying a "striped shirt." Well €“ not really. A Bengal striped shirt is simple, with evenly spaced stripes and it's sartorially symmetric and dignified. It has remained a classic piece in a gentleman's wardrobe. Some come in classic primary colors, but we are seeing a lot of them in softer shades like pink and purple. The style has even been tinkered with and designers like tie is always a good thing, but you can always do away with the neckwear and go the casual route. For a little more dapper flair, choose a contrasting collar. Whatever you choose, you can never go wrong with a Bengal stripe because we all know that stripes are slimming. Check out these shirts to quench your striped thirst.
