This sterling silver cuff bracelet was inspired by dandelion flowers. As a child, a tradition we had where I grew up was every time we found a full bodied dandelion flower, we would pick it, make a wish, and with all the breath in us make a wish for the future. This bracelet to me is like a fresh breath of air. A way to start a new.
This bracelet is perfect for a wrist that measures 6.5 inches in diameter. But since it is a cuff, it can adjust to just about any size.
The dandelion is something I fabricated with wax and beads, then had it lost wax cast. I formed the cuff where I did a shadow cut out, and soldered some sterling casting grain to make it look as if a line of seeds lay below the flower. The flower and it's stem was also soldered onto the bracelet. This is truly a one of a kind piece.
