Cute little collectible vintage 1950s salt & pepper shaker set. Darling pack mule couple, representing Californias historic gold rush.
The details to be found on the animals pack is just amazing.
Even though these tiny shakers are only a little bit over 2 inches tall, you can clearly make out the red rolls, shovels, baskets, etc. that they carry on their backs.
The salt shaker has a shield on its pack which depicts a map of California and related scenes such as the mountains, the sun and palm trees.
Not to mention a sailboat where you can even see the seagulls flying overhead. Very cool.
These are marked Japan and appear to be copper with a darker antiquing finish layered over the top.
Only about 2 inches high with fabulous detailing and a whole lot of heft for their size.
Original cork stoppers are intact.
In excellent condition, ready and willing to be added to your collection.
