    I tweeted the other day about an Apartment Therapy post that highlighted how beautiful shopping bags can look when framed and hung on the wall.     Say "so long" to the shimmering bronze and sandy shades associated with summer beauty. Fall makeup is all about the rich matte shades, reminiscent of a nice warm mug of hot chocolate or your morning mocha. Though neutral matte colors may seem slightly "blah" in comparison to your shimmer dust and glitter eyeliner, these velvety pigments do wonders in warming up your face and skintone when worn alone, and can even be punched up when paired with a touch of gold gloss or highlighter. Go for a softer version of the smokey eye with a dark chocolate shadow, or sweep a rosy mocha sheen on your cheeks for a fall-festive flush.     The new Dior Beauty Jazz Club Collection for fall is filled with sultry smoky greys, purples, and light pinks inspired by the jazz scene and the daring femme fatales of the twenties and thirties. I stopped by Saks San Francisco to get a makeup lesson with Dior National Makeup Artist Karen Hummel. She shared lots of insider tips and techniques that I've been incorporating into my makeup routine. I love how she played up my eyes with the greys in the Smoky Jazz Club compact ($65) and I was blown away by how long and full my lashes looked when she layered two coats of the new Diorshow Iconic Mascara ($27). It almost looked like I was wearing false lashes. I also fell head over heels for the new award-winning Diorskin Nude Fresh Glow Hydrating Makeup SPF 10 ($45) and Diorskin Nude Fresh Glow Powder SPF 10 ($45).
