Stylediarist grnyr's Introspection Gives Us Inspiration!

Stylediarist grnyr had a simple goal when she started her Stylediary: to get out of the jeans + top rut. I'm sure most of us can relate, as putting together simple outfits can sometimes prove to be a bother. However, the Twin Cities native was able to combine pieces she already owned with new accessories to create a well-constructed, simply elegant style for herself! Whether it was a belted cardigan over skinny jeans, or a mustard vest to punch up her workwear, grnyr gave me some great ideas to update my look within the constructs of my closet. Stylediarist Milly maintains her style sensibility while simultaneously managing not to fall into the fashion grind. Her style philosophy is to wear things that make her feel and look good. Feeling comfortable in your clothing boosts confidence and allows you to flourish, and this Melbourne science student is doing just that. Without molding herself to any particular style, she manages to pull off whatever she puts on. Whether it's vintage, business casual, or easy going, she wears each look - they don't wear her. Stylediary Spotlight: Lookbooks That Are as Much About Art as ...

Stylediarist Tootly is a force to be reckoned with. Not only does this 24-year-old New Yorker mix vintage and contemporary designs like nobody's business, but she also has a diary display like NO ONE ELSE. I adore how boring, repetitive white walls and closet backgrounds are replaced by photoshopped images of maps, graffiti, giraffes and the likes of Peter Rabbit. Her profile states that "photoshop takes [her] to places [she's] never been before," and it certainly does. The images complement the outfits, and the fusion definitely increases each looks points of inspiration. Faith-Love-Hope is lucky she lives in Manila in the Philippines where she can flaunt the cutest short bottoms daily. Laid back shorts paired with crisp clean blazers to playful overall jumper skirts, this stylediarist knows how to make the short look both dressy and casual, but always super stylish. Mixing textures of pieces, like school-girl blazers, casual flats, and frayed edges makes for a fun look that doesn't look over-polished or hasty, it's just right! Stylediarist Spotlight: Juicygal Squeezes the Runway Into ...

A fantastical mixture of neon, metallics, and some very unique runway looks, Juicygal makes what most wouldn't even dream of wearing during the light of day, amazingly everyday-friendly. This Stylediarist is an obvious color (and Karen Walker) lover and is a hardcore print mixer. She has fun with larger-than-life plaid bows, brightly colored tights, even brighter flats and wedges, plus accessories galore! She borrows looks and pieces inspired by many different eras, especially from the 80's, and makes them uniquely her own. If you are looking for some fun ways to really wear color, you won't be disappointed. Style World: Aussies Know How To Throw It In Neutral

Thumbing through the Aussie Stylediary pages, I noticed that a lot of really cute outfits were quite neutral in color. Down under, the palate may be very muted, but this international style screams posh as well as super feminine. Well, I don't know if it's because they're sick of bright colors from living in a perpetual summer, but throw some of those lovely beiges, greys, blacks, creams, taupes, and whites stateside!
