    Silk Scarves Are Summer's Perfect Accessory!

    Silk scarves are the perfect accessory. They're a wonderful burst of color, perfect for breaking up a summer outfit. Bad hair day? Tie one around your hair for a chic, bohemian look. One of my favorites for the season is Diane von Furstenberg's Techno Color Bark scarf, so fresh and cute. For a preppier look, there's the AKA New York floral finge scarf from Shopbop. The yellow, black and teal pattern would look just gorgeous with a white tee and jeans for a slightly dressier look for a day on the town.     What To Wear: Girls' Night Out!

    Girls' night out coming up? Hooray! Get ready for some good old-fashioned gossip, strong mixed drinks (mojitos or caipirinhas are mine for this season!) and a fabulous night out with your best friends. I love to up my fashion ante, especially when it's just the girls. It might be time to finally spring for the uber-cute Marc Jacobs "Love Story" clutch, which would be perfect with this Black Halo Cold Shoulder Minidress! Or I could go for a pop of bright with this gorgeous silk satin "Fiore" clutch from J. Crew with the adorable Rachel Pally "Carmela" dress.     Celeb Style: Go Sexy and Sophisticated Like Audrina Patridge

    Hills star Audrina Patridge has definitely been making some noteworthy improvements in the style department and has been looking increasingly more fab and fashion-forward in recent months. At the Maxim Hot 100 Party, Audrina struck the perfect balance between sexy and sophisticated. The reality star showcased her killer legs in a midnight blue Doo.ri minidress teamed with jewel-encrusted Giuseppe Zanotti for Balmain sandals and added some sleek sophistication to the look with a black Kris Van Assche tuxedo jacket. She accessorized with a chic Alexander McQueen clutch and kept the jewelry to a minimum with a subtle necklace and ring, to keep the look from being too cluttered (with shoes like that, you definitely don't need to go accessory-wild!). I loved this ensemble because in addition to being ultra chic and wearable, each piece is super versatile, definitely something I always like to look for in my purchases.

    What To Pack For Your Spring Break Getaway!

    If you're like me and shivering under blankets or still wearing sweaters and boots, now might be the best time to plan your spring break getaway. Whether you're going south of the border or perhaps the beaches of Miami, any place with sun and surf is worth going to! So you've got the location down, now it's time to plan what you're going to pack. When going on vacation, it's always tempting to try out a new style you wouldn't necessarily wear at home. However, the worst thing is to feel uncomfortable or self-conscious, during your well-deserved vacation no less! So stick to your style and stay with neutral colors you can mix and match. You can always be adventurous with the accessories you buy wherever you go, whether it's an armful of stacked bangles or a quintessential statement necklace.


    Another hint: making a list of what to pack is important because it will lessen the chance of forgetting something.     Everything that€™s old is new again! West Side Story has gone from Broadway to the big screen and now back onstage in 2009. The epic love story set in the 1950s takes us through the journey of two star-crossed lovers, Tony and Maria. They find themselves caught between two rival street gangs of different ethnic backgrounds, the Jets and the Sharks. Get ready for the big revival by getting the ladylike retro looks with a little bit of "cha cha" flair. While you can go the vintage route and get some petticoats and vintage cocktail dresses, there are also plenty of contemporary options that will meld seamlessly with your current wardrobe. Candy colors, nipped-in waists and ruffles help you get a little Latina spring in your step. Try a swingy knee-length dress with a pretty bow clutch and some colorful bangles for a totally Maria-esque look. Scared to go all out? When worn with jeans, a ruffled blouse topped with a colorful cardigan all cinched by a modern belt is a great way to dabble in the look. Still too much?
