    Anna Sui To Launch Gossip Girl-Inspired Target Collection ...

    Photos of Anna Sui's upcoming Gossip Girl-inspired Target collection have leaked, and so far the looks get an XOXO from me! It's pretty obvious which outfits were inspired by which character, from Blair's lacy, bow-adorned frocks to Jenny's edgier ensembles. Sure, they're a bit costume-y, but anyone who's ever watched an episode of Gossip Girl (or just drooled over the outfits in between episodes) knows that the overly accessorized, often times theatrical looks are all part of the show's appeal-- plus, it wouldn't be Anna Sui collection without her signature girly, rock n' roll flair. Not crazy about Gossip Girl? The collection's eerily reminiscent of Anna Sui's past runway collections, another reason you won't want to pass this up. Magazine. "There's nothing scarier than making fashion - or anything else, for that matter - that everyone agrees on." Unlike so many of his big-name peers on the luxury conglomerate payroll, Hourani makes gender-blind clothing ("for people who do not define themselves primarily as men or women") that are independent even of the seasons, fashion or otherwise. "Fashion is about clothes transcending simple functionality and gaining symbolic, evocative power by engaging in a dialogue with their environment and time."     H&M Steps It Up With Jimmy Choo This Fall!

    H&M knows how to follow up one high profile designer collection-- by doing another. While many of us didn't flip for the fluorescent frocks from the recent Matthew WIlliamson collaboration, this fall's design star, coveted British accessories label Jimmy Choo, is sure to be another story. Set to debut in 250 H&M stores on November 14th, the collection will contain shoes, bags, and even clothing. "We are privileged to be among the fashion greats who have been affiliated with H&M, to be designing a collection that will appeal to fashion-savvy, street-smart women and to be including some great pieces for men, too," says Jimmy Choo founder and president Tamara Mellon. The strappy patent cutout stiletto looks nice but I'm thinking the real showstopper is going to be those embellished platform zebra heels. No word on price points yet, but you can pretty much expect a sample sale-like frenzy come November. So tell us... will you be in line?
