In addition to providing comfortable, energy efficient light, Fresh also deodorizes room air. The glass components of the Fresh bulb are coated with Titanium Dioxide. When exposed to fluorescent light, a photocatalytic reaction creates oxidizers that break down odors for up to 3 years. To work effectively, the bulb must be exposed to room air.
