Getting organized is the worst. I mean, there's the going through your stuff phase, the purge phase, the immediately-regretting-that-purge phase and then boom! Where are you going to put all this stuff? There are a lot of cute storage solutions right now, and I've put together a few of my favorites. I love this Axis Set of Nesting Boxes in Black Toile at Target. Imagine having all of your accessories neatly organized in these boxes sitting on the shelves in your closet? Delightful! For a great vintage, well-traveled look, why not use this Faux-leather Trunk as a side table in your living room? Extra credit if you can add some stickers of your favorite destinations. Check out my slideshow for lots of great home storage solutions!

Luxe Minimalism For Your Home On A Minimal Budget!

Simplicity in design is a hard thing to achieve. To show good taste and sophistication through minimalism and to have practical and beautiful styles that are sleek and not overwhelming are all characteristics of good design. Every time I see displays of furniture showrooms, or flip through home decor magazines, I always find myself drawn to the most simple and clutter-free layouts. There's something modern, chic and comforting about the sleek lines and clean, spacious feel of a room designed in a minimalist manner. However, the prices for these pieces usually are so minimal. A house should be a home and you should decorate it the way you want, but not if that means buying the furniture is going to take the roof over your head away! I've found multiple pieces and home accessories that will give your living space the sleek, minimalist look you want, without your bank account falling into minimalist territory as well! Check out the slideshow for ideas!

Furniture maker mavens Cliff and Leigh Spencer design with our future in mind and sustainability is the key. The husband and wife duo, based in scenic seaside Marina Del Rey, California, live and work by a single philosophy: live simply. But that doesn't mean you have to sacrifice quality or style. By bringing an eco-aware flair to their custom cabinetry and furniture pieces, the natural beauty of the wood takes center stage. Working with traditional (walnut, cherry, maple) and non-traditional (mesquite, eucalyptus, sycamore) woods, they create luxury items out of something you use every day. Dorm Wall Decor To Add Pizzazz To Your Side Of The Room!

As much as you'd like to deny it, it's time to pack those bags and head back to school! Whether you're shacking up on campus in the dorms, going solo in your own apartment, or looking forward to a packed year in the sorority house, those blank walls can look pretty unfriendly. Even if you're not the homesick type, jazzing up your empty wall space can do wonders in making you feel more at home in your new school-year pad, and you're likely to find that even the most cramped or most run-down of places are a whole lot more bearable with a little added personality. Look back on fond memories of last summer while you have new fun times in the fall with a wall photo sleeve, or mark your limited territory over on your side of the tiny dorm room with an initial marquee light fixture. No matter what cool and trendy wall decor you throw up, it may never be a four-star resort, but hey -- it's home! Check the slideshow for some of my favorite fun and quirky wall hang-ups!

Hot In The Hive: Professional Stud Setter

Okay, I think it's officially time to call off that search for the perfect studded handbag. Now you can custom-make it yourself with this Professional Stud Setter! Portable and super-easy to use, this crafty tool allows you to attach your own grommets, studs, snaps, and other embellishments to your favorite clothes and accessories. It's the ultimate way to spice up your wardrobe and salvage boring old pieces that were once destined to end up at the thrift store. And at the reasonable price of $68, think of all the shoes, shirts, jackets, and bags you can bedazzle just the way you want them, without having to sift through all the heavily-blinged out merchandise on the sale rack that never perfectly suits your fancy. Now, if you see a girl on the street wearing seriously studded duds from head to toe in the next couple of days, it's not an overzealous wannabe biker chick... it's probably just me, taking a break from my fun new fashion toy.

    Price: $68
Who Found It: xgalexy was the first to add the Professional Stud Setter to the Hive.

Sometimes, I'm so bored that I can just stare at the wall all day. Which got me thinking, wow- I should really mix things up. I've done some research and come up with some really cute wall decor items - from prints to fun shelves to sconces - and compiled them in this slideshow. The best part? All the items I feature are $99 or less. It's nice to know that you can brighten up a room with a mirrored sunburst or nature-inspired gilded lacquer prints without breaking your design budget. Think of the gorgeous light reflection you'll achieve in your room with a metallic flower mirror. Check out my slideshow for more wall decor that won't break your budget!
