Oh, to be Kate Lanphear! The acclaimed senior fashion editor at Elle and style icon to all urban girls everywhere manages to take grey and black and combine them, twist them, and surprise you with a few basic ingredients. Seriously, just do a quick Google image search - you'll see Lanphear in jeans, t-shirts, blazers, and cashmere, and always looking chic. She's a serious reminder that a minimalist closet can take you very far. Just stock up on a few key pieces and you'll be on your merry way to super-star style status. Though Lanphear prefers Alexander Wang, Aussie Lee Supa Tubes jeans, and Balenciaga, there are definitely ways to achieve a similar look in your price range! Stylehive's Stylescopes Encourage You To Raid Your ...

Okay, so it's pretty apparent that the "boyfriend"-inspired trend doesn't actually look like it came from your man's closet, but you gotta admit that it's a pretty cute concept given the comfy, slightly oversized fits that are still flattering to your feminine physique. And the best part about the misnomer? You don't actually need your own ball-and-chain to cop the looks. So whether you're single or attached, the stars say you're destined to rock the boyfriend look this week, be it a blazer, a pair of shorts, or even a zip-up hoodie that fits slightly better than the one your dude left at your place. Libras can keep it casual or even go pro in a boyfriend jacket and Sagittarius ladies will stay comfy-cool in some denim shorts, for example. Just be careful not to wear too many oversized items at once -- you don't want to look like you raided your dad's closet instead! Check the slideshow to see the week's pick for your sign!

    Influential International Style: Chloe Sevigny

Chloe Sevigny knows what she's doing. She's best known for her roles on Big Love and in Boys Don't Cry, but also just as well-known for always looking cool and chic both on and off the red carpet. Though American-born, she seems to possess a European grace and polish to her clothing choices. As the face of fragrance for the house of Chloe, I know I'm not the only one that recognizes her subtle glamour. Her trick? Wearing neutrals and patterns that don't overcome her own beauty, and keeping her hair long and loose. To get her look, choose individual pieces with wonderful detail like scalloping or a reserved lace. Check out my slideshow for Chloe Sevigny style tricks! Photo credit: PR Photos
