Now you can live forever. Sort of. Algordanza, a small company based in Switzerland, has added a new option for preserving the memory of a loved one. They create diamonds out of the ashes of the dearly departed. Now I truly miss all my relatives who have passed over the years. But I am not crushing on the idea of recycling a loved one. The cost is cheaper than a tricked out funeral (under $8,000) and you do get a piece of bling in return. But do you really want to wear your dear old Auntie? If you are digging the idea of coming back as a family heirloom we suggest stipulating in your will if you want to be a canary yellow diamond or better yet a fancy pink one. What do you think? Do you want to come back as a gemstone?
