There is no doubt that her Madgesty Madonna Louise Ciccone Ritchie is the queen of evolving style. When the Michigan native first broke the scene in 1982, it was her dark roots and her acid-washed jeans that helped her sell records and sent teenagers across the globe rushing to the mall to scoop up her style and sounds. Known as the queen of reinvention, Madonna has successfully changed her identity about every 5-8 years since the beginning of her career. In this post, we'll direct you how to use Madonna's past as a great Halloween costume - in four iterations, from "Like a Virgin" and "Blonde Ambition" to "Sticky & Sweet" and um, ripped gym-going Madonna. Check out the SLIDESHOW for ideas and advice on how to dress like Madonna this Halloween!!

Lacking rad ideas for a Halloween costume? Set your course on an excellent adventure back to the decade of David Bowie, Wham! and the Brat Pack -- the 80's! Get physical and put on some leggings, leg warmers and an off the shoulder sweatshirt for a complete Olivia Newton-John aerobics look! As for hair, the bigger the better! Use the mantra "crimp and tease." Make yourself up with some blue eye shadow and pink blush, and then top the whole look off with a scrunchie or a sweatband. Use MASH to find a date for the evening and take on the town! Check out our SLIDESHOW for, like, some outfit ideas!

Every year, about a month before Halloween rolls around, I get inspired to come up with a awesomely creative costume that blows people away. But then, 3.5 weeks pass and my procrastinating uninspired self has left me digging around my apartment looking for some fabric scraps and wire hangers to put together the world's least inspired costume: settling for dressing up as circa 1980 with the leggings and mini-skirts that have found their way back into my wardrobe on a weekly basis. Hardly a show-stopping costume. Who better to come to the rescue then Costumes Inc.. They're sponsoring this week's "The Hunt" - with perfect timing! A smorgasbord of costumes and accessories, there's every style you could imagine for men and women, kids and pets. Bumblebee? Check! Robin Hood? Check! Aqua-Teen Hunger Force? Oh yeah, check! Pretty much anything you can think of can be found here. But Costumes Inc. has a lot more than just Halloween costumes. From the flapper inspired feather combs that we've seen all over (hello, Project Runway's Kenley) to fun faux eyelashes to the cutest ruffled boyshorts - there's always something for when you're feeling frisky or feeling frilly. So for this week's "The Hunt", go to CostumesInc.com and bookmark the costume that you want this year- the top 3 bookmarks with the most saves will win gift certificates to purchase their favorite costume and accessories - first place wins $250, second place wins $150 and third place wins $100 - good luck and happy hunting!
