Not a day goes by without the Stylehive office busy exchanging links to the newest, cutest, and sometimes really ridiculous (like a $12,000 Balmain jumpsuit). But it's no secret that we all love Alessi products and that our dream homes would be filled with gadgets made by the famed Italian design factory. Our latest find is the Ghost corkscrew designed by Alessandro Mendini. Perfect for Halloween, the ghost corkscrew is a limited edition piece and sure to be a conversation starter when you use this to open up all the bottles of libations at your upcoming Halloween party. In fact, I'd probably use this all year 'round for a bit of Halloween cheer all the time. There are other costumed characters such as a devil, angel, rock star, and king, but the ghost is the one that charmed our hearts!

If we only bought the things we need, we would all wear baggy jeans and hoodies that could double as sleepwear, live in small apartments with a mattress on the floor and a wind-up radio to use in case of emergencies, and take the bus. But even if you lived such a Ghandi-esque lifestyle, you'd still want one of these amazing little objects, because they make you smile!
